I love sweets. But to be honest, I’d rather have a piece of sourdough toast over anything. So when it comes to candy, I’m very specific, maybe even too high-strung about the ingredients in. I’m not someone who will sit there and eat a bag of peanut M&M’s because I balance my diet like a cheque book, & the sourdough with French butter & Fleur de Sel is more important to me.
Over the years I’ve tried so many different natural candy brands & I’ve narrowed it down to these 3 standouts that I know you guys will be obsessed with. The reason I know this is because I’ve tested them on my husband & he has replaced his nasty ass Snickers with these 3 candy brands. This ‘candy’ is so delicious. It has 20 organic super foods & it also has real shredded coconut pieces. You can throw it in your bag on the way to the beach, the movies, yoga class ( eeer… I’ve been guilty of this lately ). I also like to add these to the freezer to keep them cold. Sometimes I’ll cut them in 4 so I can just have a bite of chocolate before I go to bed. It’s also fun to cut open a date & put a piece of the cup inside, then eat the whole date. Not a licorice fan, but am a total fan of this licorice. Well, I guess because it’s not real licorice. The peach ones are my favorite & I love to mix them in with popcorn ( light butter with some salt please ). The pomegranate ones are delicious mixed in with some mini dark chocolate chips. These aren’t long & stringy like Red Vines, they’re tiny bite-sized pieces that you can just pop in your mouth. Michael is a big fan of this brand too & we get these on Thrive Market. Soooo gotta say I tried out the Smart Sweets per your recommendation and was totes disappointed…got them via Amazon as you have them linked, and 3 of my 4 bags came in one big glob…the candy melted somewhere along the line. I got the Swedish fish, the sours, the regular gummies…whatever wasn’t globbed together was good, but disappointed to pay for bags of melted nastyness…do you typically order yours from Amazon? When you look at the reviews, I wasn’t alone as others posted pics of their melted candies. But you didn’t mention any issues. Liked what I was able to try but not eager to waste money again on bags that just end up in the garbage. I do however appreciate your recommendations.
They sell them at most GNC stores so you don’t have to order off of amazon! But seriously they are a game changer! Sooo good! I’m sorry you had a bad experience from amazon! xo
